Why Prayers At 8:30?

Choir Practice at church ended at 8:30 p.m. each week.  The choir director would turn to Stan and ask him to lead the choir in a closing prayer.  And Prayers At 8:30 was born.

It's tough to lead a group prayer and do it right for everyone.  Some people like long prayers. Some like traditional language. The prayers that Stan wrote are neither.
