You have given us, O God, a simple two-step road to true happiness: First, we are to find out which way You want us to move, and Second, we are to get moving.
You know, all too well, our excuses, but You have assured us:
First, that Your word is a lamp unto our feet, and
Second, that You are our refuge and strength.
We confess our weakness. Teach us that by our lives we may profess Your strength.
